My wife and I are taking our four children (16, 14, 12, 7) to Europe for two weeks (leaving next week!). Florence is our last stop and I'd like to take the family out for a special meal on the last night (Monday, April 11) to cap the trip and celebrate the time we've had together. Any specific recommendations? I'm thinking that somewhere that serves a delicious bistecca alla Fiorentina could be fun but I'm wide open. Thank you!

For bistecca we always go to All'Antico Ristoro di Cambi (reservation required we used The Fork). It is a very special place for us, the food is always good and we dream about the bistecca there. The address is Via S. Onofrio, 1r 50124 Florence. You can look at reviews on tripadvisor.

One of our favorite restaurants for a special meal in Florence is La Terrazza del Principe. It's a little outside of the tourist core on the road leading up to Piazzale Michelangelo (easy accessible by taxi or about a 30 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio if you don't mind a little uphill route) and has incredible views, as the name suggests. As I recall, it's more seafood focused rather than bistecca, but the food is delicious and we always had incredible service.
