Where exactly in Southern Italy?- that is a pretty large area
I'd start on Booking.com- they list villas, homes, apartments etc- use the filters for location, budget, amenities, # of beds/rooms, etc.
There reviews left there can only be submitted by folks who have actually stayed at the propert- so they are legit.
You would have to have a clue as to which town you want to visit.
