Hi everyone,
looking for recommendations on how to structure a trip in Southern Italy- would love to see Positano (but don't need to stay there), Ischia/Capri to relax...
How would you recommend traveling in/out of those areas?
what other spots should we consider in Southern Italy, from a culture/food/drink standpoint?

How much time do you have?
I'd fly into Naples, spend a few days in Positano and a few days on an island, and finish with a few days in Naples (seeing Pompeii as a day trip).
Make sure you visit the Archeological Museum in Naples, which has much of the art objects taken from Pompeii. Many people find Herculaneum a must-see. The Mondo Guide tours to Capri from Sorrento or Naples are excellent. Boat rides from Positano to Amalfi really show off the coast.
