Traveling as a couple (late 30's) in July. We are planning to spend time visiting Ischia and the Amalfi Coast. Trying to decided how many days to spend in each. While in Ischia, we are possibly interested in going to Procida for a day trip. In the AC, we would consider going to Capri for a day trip. In AC, Ravello is a must visit for us. Haven't narrowed down what other must visits we have for ourselves there. Would it be better to spend more days in Ischia or more in AC? We know it is a very busy time of year and very hot, but this is when we can travel for a longer stretch. Thanks for any advice!

Spend a few nights on Capri to fully enjoy it. We spent three nights and wished we had more time.
Ravello needs time too.We really disliked Positano.

@Suki Thanks! Because we are staying on Ischia for a few nights, I don't think we will stay on Capri overnight, but might consider a day trip to the island. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Ravello!

I think you should consider going to Positano as well. One if my best friends lives there and I got the opportunity to visit him. Ravello is nice, you could decide to spend 1 night there. I can suggest a nice hotel and activities.
Ischia is not that big island. It is pretty but I would rather spend more time on the AC, maybe going on a boat trip and have a pvt driver to follow the Costiera Amalfitana.
Dont forget Amalfi..and his big cathedral.
