Hello. My husband and I are planning a 2-week trip to Italy in October. On two previous trips, we have been to Rome, Florence, Tuscany and Cinque Terre. This time we would like to experience Southern Italy and would appreciate input on the ideal length of time in this region. We are considering Sorrento as one base town and possibly Amalfi for the second, with day trips to Capri and Pompeii, plus a cooking class in Ravello and a wine tour. Since we have plenty of time, we want to soak in the culture and countryside.
If two weeks is too long for this area, what are some recommendations for the final few days of our trip?
Thanks so much for your help!
