We would like to spend time in the fall to see Southern Italy, and spend some time in Rome-probably at the end and do some day trips as we have been to Rome before.
We would like to cover the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Sicily, possibly Puglia region. Would prefer to get a driver or tour minibus if no public transportation is available.
Any recommendations for how to plan the trip and other places to see? We would like to stay at small intimate places,AirBnB or B&B and enjoy traveling at a leisurely place. We are in early 70's and will need elevators for accommodations.
We like museums and cultural events, historical sites, food tours, beaches and casual eating.
Thank you!
