I will be ending a tour in Sorrento on 28 April and have until 2nd of May to explore.
Praiano has been suggested as a spot to visit. Any other suggestions? Will fly out of Naples on
2nd. There are three of us together for the 4 days.
Also means of transportation from Sorrento to Praiano?

The only way to Praiano is by road. There is no ferry access, making it less than ideal if you want to explore the area.

Any other suggestions? It depends on what you've visited on your tour. Pompeii. Herculaneum, Capri, Amalfi coast towns (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello), Walk of the Gods, Paestum, Naples???
To get to Praiano, take the SITA bus or 3 of you might want to split a cab.

Good time of year to visit Sorrento, just before the tourist craziness.
Daytrips: (via Circumvesuviana commuter train) Pompei & Naples Archeological Museum
(via SITA bus) Positano & Amalfi-town
(via ferry) Capri & Anacapri
Take your daytrips by starting early, come back late afternoon, take a nap, walk to dinner at any number of great Sorrento restaurants--most of them are great and reasonably-priced.

The ferries should be running, so I'd suggest taking the ferry to Positano (the view from the water is lovely!) then ferry on to Amalfi. Take a local bus from the bus stop up to Ravello. The views are breathtaking. You can tour Villa Rufolo and have lunch. It was one of our favorite places on the Amalfi. You could take the SITA bus back to Sorrento. Pompeii is amazing, but plan on spending an entire day there. So much to see and do! Read up on all your choices in Rick's guidebook.He has a special one just on Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
