Southern Italy

Hi
I was wondering, if someone who has taken the Southern Italy tour, could please answer my question... do the hotels on this tour have hair dryers?

Also for women who have traveled in Sept. to Rome and Southern Italy...what are you glad you packed and what do you wish you had packed?

Thanks

For any trip to southern Italy, pack toilet paper to carry in your purse.

For a September trip, a wide-brimmed hat is a very good idea, and sunscreen unless you plan to stay covered up.

Doubt you’ll need a hairdryer. Italy is very hot in September, so I’m sure your hair will dry quickly without one. I used to travel with a small hairdryer, but haven’t for years. The tips of toilet paper (or tissues), sunscreen and a sun hat are all great. I got a hat with sunblock that is great in the heat of the day.

I haven't done this specific tour, but I've traveled in that part of Italy. You should be fine as far as a hairdryer goes.

You may want to pack a hat.

You may want to pack washcloths.

You may want to pack a travel bar of soap as some hotels only provide one bar for both the sink and the shower.

Also, while most hotels provide shampoo, conditioner is another story. My first trip to Rome, I was looking for the nearest open store to pick up some conditioner since I hadn't packed any!

Enjoy your trip!
