Sort of stranded between Genoa and Nice ! Need trusted car service

Hello - we are in C.T. Planning to head back to Nice on Saturday. On our way here we
Encountered some unfortunate travel delays due to the recent storms. The trains weren’t running
Between Savona and Genoa. It took us 5 hrs for what is normally an hour ride.

To avoid this same issue, we would like to hire a car to take us to Ventimiglia. We would like to
Make arrangements in advance. We are two women traveling together and would feel a whole lot
Better with pre-arrangements than trying to hire someone on the spot.

Hotels tend to partner with reliable land travel agencies. This will be VERY expensive.

According to Viaggiatreno the trains are running again, more or less normally. That may still be your best option.

A storm that interrupts train traffic usually affects car traffic as well...

It sounds as if you may not need this sort of service, but if you do, DayTrip connects travelers with transportation providers. It has drawn several positive comments here. You can pre-arrange sightseeing stops along the way, which might make you feel a bit better about the expense.

As a backup, there are buses from Savona to Nice, too. Flixbus runs the route, only a little more than 2 hrs to Nice airport.
