Our train from Naples to Rome leaves at 8:12 in the morning on Sunday, August 4. We will be in Sorrento the previous two nights, Friday and Saturday, and I was wondering if the Circumvesuviana train runs early enough on the Sunday morning to get to Naples in time to catch our train. Or is there a better way to get to Napoli Centrale (bus, water boat?) The website for Cicumvesuviana is all in Italian and its hard for me to figure out the train schedule correctly, especially since our departure day is on the weekend (Sunday). Thanks for the help.

http://www.eavcampania.it/web/sites/default/files/allegati/sorrento_0.pdf Numbers are the same in both languages. There is a train at 6:01 and one at 6:25 which will get you to Naples Garibaldi (Centrale) on time.

Thanks, Roberto. I did notice on the attached pdf file on the train schedule a train marked "DD" at the top leaving at 6:49 arriving at 7:48. In Rick's book it says this these types of trains are faster w/out as many stops. Do you know if this train is available on Sundays? Thanks.
