Curious to any that know - how impossible is a trip to Cropani if i was staying in Sorrento?
I was considering renting a car and driving down. It's where my ancestors came from back early 1900's.

Cropani, Province of Potenza OR Cropani, Province of Catanzaro?
One ( Potenza) is a really long day trip, the other at least a one night stay.
I did not drive there but did drive from Sorrento to the Adriatic coast and found the rounds to be at least as good as their US counterparts. Amalfi coast road is slow due to traffic, but not by any means 'impossible'

First time planning this - looks like it's Province of Catanzaro - Cropani
Driving shows 5 hours each way but didn't know how much of a population area it is. Don't want to throw away 1-2 days sitting in a car .
