Sorrento > Ravello > Positano > Amalfi > Maiori

We are flying into Rome, taking the high speed train to Naples. From there, we may rent a car to our Airbnb which is about 30 minutes from Sorrento. Or, we'll take a bus to Sorrento and then taxi to our Airbnb. I'm inclined to rent a car only to get us from our place to Sorrento and back - using ferry, bus, etc to get to our other day trips as parking in Sorrento seems to be fairly reasonable.
I've heard driving through the Amalfi coast can not only be iffy but that it's also difficult to find parking in Positano and/or Amalfi town.

We're considering taking the following day trips:
Sorrento to Ravello - from there walking to Amalfi.

Sorrento to Bomerano - from there walking to Positano
Sorrento to Maiori and taking the Path of the Lemons to Minori

The question is what is the best and most budget friendly way to get from Sorrento to these places. I'm not keen on taking the climb back from Positano to Bomerano - would you suggest a taxi or some other service? I've chosen the above as bases for the day as I've read it's easier to park in Ravello, Bomerano and Maiori. Plus, we like walks/hikes.

Path of the Lemons is easy and ends in Minori where you can eat your weight in sfogliatella. Take the ferry back to Sorrento from there, it's way better than the bus after a day of walking

Taxi will definitely be the least budget friendly by a long shot. Most budget friendly will be the bus, but to get budget friendly AND best then I'd take a ferry to Amalfi and then a bus to Ravello and Maiori. I can't help with Bomerano.

You don’t need a car. If your plan is to go to the Amalfi Coast everyday, you should just stay in the Amalfi Coast. Take the train from Rome to Salerno and then the ferry to Amalfi (town). Stay in Amalfi (town) as it’s the transportation hub of the AC. It’s easy to go to the other towns by bus and /or ferry from Amalfi. Staying in Sorrento means long commute times and missing out on the AC towns in the mornings and evenings when it’s not as crowded as middays.
