Hi. We will be in Sorrento for a day from a cruise ship. We do not want to take ship excursions, as what they offer are places we have been fortunate enough to visit already. Does anyone have suggestions on things to do and see in Sorrento itself?
A few days later, we will be stopping in Portofino....the same question applies. Thanks for your help & suggestions. cadillac problems , huh? LOL
We've been to Sorrento 3 times, staying a week each time. We love Sorrento. We just enjoy walking everywhere in and all around town, Sitting outside at restaurants/cafes, eating gelato, people watching, going into shops - just being there soaking it all up and hearing Italian spoken all around us. They have a Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour which we really enjoyed. It's a beautiful, charming town with amazing views. Enjoy!
