Recommendations for Sorrento or Positano Accomodations?

Any recommendations for accommodations in Sorrento or Positano in late March/early April? My friend and I (60's) need double room with twin beds and en suite bath, with easy access to town and public transportation as we will be walking. A pretty view and/or garden sitting area or nearby park would be nice, too. Hoping to keep it in the 100-150 euro range (for both, not each).

I checked other forum topics but the last one I saw similar to mine was in 2010, would like something more recent. Thank you :)

You might consider staying in Ravello, which is above Positano and has amazing views. We stayed at the Hotel Villa Cimbrone, which might be above your price range, but there are other equally beautiful hotels there with views of the Amalfi Coast and Tyrrhenian Sea. Buses connect Ravello to the coastal towns.

When I go to heaven, I plan to stay at the Hotel Villa Cimbrone on the way. Last I checked it was close to $1000! But the villa and grounds are beautiful and the entrance fee is reasonable, and there are other places in Ravello to stay as well. The bus ride down to Amalfi town and places beyond takes about 20 minutes, I think - can't remember, I just kept looking at the views and lost track of time.

I stay in Praiano, near Positano, so no hotel recommendations I can give.

Only comment I would make is that at that time of year low lying clouds (which seem to like clustering around mountains) can obscure the views from high up places. Happened to us a few years ago so no longer stay high up in early spring or late autumn.

La Agave in Positano has incredible views. Rooms are not cookie-cutter and vary a lot. Not sure of March/April rates or specials. Check their web site and Trip Advisor reviews.

Enjoy....the Amalfi Coast if lovely.
