Sorrento is one of my favorite places in Italy. It's a great place to walk through, slowly. It's a shopping city - ceramics, linen, inlaid wood, limoncello etc. etc. You will see plenty of interesting buildings and places and sites and views along the way. Food in Sorrento is so very good! I like Pizzeria da Gigino. The seafood restaurants down at Marina Grande are worth the hike. Sorrento is also one of those places where I'll just try a place that looks interesting, busy, and not too touristy (not as difficult as one might think). Above all, be in the little park by Chiesa San Francesco for the sunset.

Down by the Marina have a seafood lunch at Bagni Delfino.
