Has anybody used Sorrento Coast shared shuttle service? We are looking for transport options from our Sorrento hotel to Napoli Centrale on Sunday, 08 Oct. The quote is 60 euro for 2 with hotel pickup at 8:30 am. We are planning on an 11 am Naples to Rome train. We have not heard anything positive about the local Sorrento trains.

Haven’t heard of that particular company but that’s a good price
I am familiar with Mondo Guides shared trips but they only offer an evening transfer

As far as the Circumvesuviana -I think early Sunday am wouldn’t be too bad
It’s end of the line so you’d be boarding an empty train

I have taken the Circumvesuviana from Sorrento to Naples and it was fine, and extremely cheap. It originates in Sorrento so as another poster noted, you get on an empty train. Yes, it's a bit rattly, but that's local color. And it goes right to the Napoli station. I am not familiar with the shuttle, but my preference is always trains over motor vehicles and traffic.
