Are you going to Sorrento to shop, or are you looking for souvenirs during your stay? Budget may determine what you buy. From cheap Chinese made fridge magnets to hand made ceramics, some leather goods, to fine carved and inlaid wood. And everything lemon. From fresh lemons, candied lemons, lemon oil, limoncello, lemon scented soaps and candles, lemon themed linens and ceramics.
Best price? Depends on what you're in the market for. Best to shop around before buying if aiming for higher end items.

If you want to see some fine inlaid wood works and meet the artist, visit his studio (a former small church) at Vico Sant Aniello, 6. It's near the main plaza in town. Enzo can ship to your home too. The prices were very reasonable.

This sounds like the shop we stopped when visiting Sorrento. This had table tops that had very nice designs. Some had hidden compartments for board games, and yes there is alt of fresh looking lemons.

It's a pretty touristy place, so prices are jacked up. There are several of those carved wood places. I love that stuff but so expensive. They wanted 18 eu for a single drink coaster and 140 eu for a little jewelry box.
I would not do any serious shopping in Sorrento. Maybe try the Limoncello gelato or fresh pomegranate juice.
