We have 4 full days in Sorrento in July
Day 1 is booked with monetti taxi to take us to Paestum for the day.
Day 2 I am leaning toward taking the mondo guide to Capri for the day. Has anyone done this? We are interested in the Blue Grotto, possibly the chair lift and then swimming off the boat and circling the island and taking photographs. Worth the extra expense for the tour from sorrento?
Day 3 to pompeii and herculeum using the local train.
Day 4 would like to see some of the amalfi coast , considered taking bus to postiano and then see the city, play in the water, rent a kayak if possible, then the 12:25 ferry back to sorrento then head to Naples arch. museum afternoon/early evening. I am also considering a full day tour by boat down amalfi coastline from Sorrento with swimming from the boat and great viewing and photography of the coastline. Anyone done one of these boat tours? We can still see the museum the next day as we are only moving apartments to Rome.
Any thoughts on the schedule? We don't want to be too busy, just enjoy each thing we are able to do. Want to see the history but also the beauty of the water and coastline.
