Sorrento Apartments in nov or dec

For a week in sorrento would the last week of November or first week in December be best? What will the weather be like? Has anyone stayed at the Sorrento Apartments listed on the interval international site? Will there be enough to do for a week that time of year?

The weather will be pretty miserable and a lot of the town will have shut down for the off-season.

End of October begining of November is one of the times we visit Sorrento each year. The town does start to wind down after the All Saints Day (Ognissanti) public holiday on Nov 1. It does not shut down completely, it has a resident population of over 16,000 and they carry on with their business. What we have noticed recently is that some restos only opening on weekends but apart from them there are still more than enough open. The Christmas lights, and Christmas events, start at the begining of December as the town gears up for the Christmas and New Year holidays which are busy periods when hotel prices can be almost as high as the summer. The really quiet period, as far as restos, hotels and tourist shops are concerned, is between the New Year and Easter, lots of maintenance etc going on. All the archaelogical sites are open and the bus services less crowded etc. Expect cool sometimes cold evenings and some windy days but when the sun shines it can feel quite pleasant. Here is last December's programme of events http://www.milluminodinverno.it/en/ PS - you can read reviews for the apartments on Tripadvisor http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g187782-d1553822-Reviews-Sorrento_Apartments-Sorrento_Province_of_Naples_Campania.html
