We're planning a trip to Italy arriving and departing from Naples. On this first planning pass we'd like to stay in Lecce, Barletta, Vieste, Sorrento. But if visited in that order Naples to Lecce looks to be about 6 hours according to rome2rio and Vieste to Sorrento more than 7 hours. I'm trying to figure out a way where we don't spend two days of our vacation essentially moving point to point.
Is this a feasible set of destinations? In similar circumstances do people just figure it takes what it takes, or might there be a better order? Maybe adding another intermediate stop? I've tried a few variations but haven't come up with a great plan yet, I'm hoping someone familiar with the area might have suggestions or advice.
