Sorento in March - hotel? Restaurants?

My husband & I want to stay in Sorento for 2 nights in early March this year, but the hotels that I‘ve seen mentioned in these posts seem still closed for the season. Any suggestions of something nice that would be open? Definitely with a view.
Also, any suggestions of restaurants that would still be open?
The weather may not be great but I guess we won’t encounter lots of tourists!
Thanks.

When I google “Sorrento hotels March” a huge number of hotels pops up. I don’t know what the hotels you have seen mentioned on this website are. Note correct spelling of Sorrento, that may be your problem. We stayed at Eden House, a rental apartment, incredible views of Bay of Naples and Vesuvius.
I would return to Sorrento just to dine at Bagni Delfino! The best seafood of that trip…

Yes - Sorrento is the correct spelling. But that's not the problem. It looks like hotels that have been recommended on Rick Steves forums are not open in March - Il Nido, Ambasciatori, La Tonarella, Grand Hotel La Favorite, Grand Hotel de La Ville, Hotel Tramontano are the ones I've checked.
Does anyone know about the Hilton Sorrento Palace, Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto, or Parco den Principi? They seem to be open, according to Booking.com. How would they and their location compare with the hotels mentioned above that appear closed?
Thanks!

Susan, it's no help in your question, but did you see my nearby comments,

I would respectfully suggest that it is not a good idea to use a consolidator site like Hotel dot Com when you are dealing with possible closures. Some consolidators have a nasty reputation for cancelling bookings when hotels withdraw some of their offered rooms. But my main point is that you harm the reliability of your "information" when you interpose a third-party.

I also prefer to be the actual customer, in case I need to make changes, or want to change the room they offer me first. Businesses do tend to treat people paying money directly to them a little better. Again, there are special conditions with your search. For example, maybe saving 20 Euros on a consolidating site is a poor exchange for losing direct control of the booking (?)

My husband and I stayed in a balcony room at Hotel Minerva for our 25th anniversary a few years ago. Amazing views of the bay. Highly recommend, but not sure if they have availability for the nights you need. Worth a try!
