Solo dining in Rome: Fall 2024

I see that this question is asked somewhat often, but would very much like the most current answers possible!

Traveling to Rome first week of October and looking for buzzy, convivial restaurants with either communal tables, or where dining at the bar is welcomed and acceptable.

I've been to Rome several times, but first time without wife. I will be staying on via Julia near Campo de' Fiori, but I'm comfortable going anywhere!

Ai Marmi in Trastevere is busy and convivial with communal tables. I have often shared dishes with table mates. The food is very good and the staff are part of the show. Brad

You can dine at the bar at Salumeria Roscioli. It is a busy much-listed restaurant, with rushed, typically brusque Roman service, and filled to the rafters with tourists (like us), so booking is a must, but the food is very good.
