Hello! My boyfriend and I will be in Rome Oct 2 - Oct 6. He is a big soccer fan and I would love to suprise him with tickets to the Lazio soccer game on Sunday, Oct 3. Can anyone recommend the best way to buy tickets to this game - should I try to order them in advance online? I've found a few websites, but some look a little sketchy and I'm not sure if our hotel would accept a ticket delivery before we arrive (staying at the Smeraldo) If I wait until we arrive in Rome, do you think we would be able to buy tickets the day before, or the day of the game? If so, where would I buy them? Thanks so much for your help!

Sarah, I'm not sure of the website either, but try to contact the hotel and see if they'll get 2 tickets. Soccer is very popular there, so I'm not sure if they'll have any at the last minute. You may need to give your credit card number to the hotel tho.

Sarah we bought our ticket the day of the game, Lazio is not as popular as AS Roma so you should not have trouble getting tickets. The day of the game we started with a Lazio store near the Termini station, but they could not sell them anymore so they gave us the address to a Lazio store near the Olympic stadium that could sell the day of the game. I would try the one near Termini the day before the game, it is on Via Farini, or go just before the game on Via Guglielmo Calderini near the stadium. Don't forget you have to bring your passport to be able to buy the tickets. Have fun!

Lazio is not playing a big team that day, and the Olympic stadium will have more than enough tickets for that day. Take the advice of the above poster and buy tickets the day before at the Lazio store. You will not be able to walk up and buy tickets the day of the match at the stadium.
