We're deciding if we want to see a professional soccer game in Italy. We see there's a game on August 14th. (Lots of different teams seem to play on the same day). Right now as we're figuring out our travel itinerary we could be in one of 3 places: Rome, Florence or Venice. The game location could help us decide (maybe). Anyone have any tips or preferences for that?

I don't believe Venice is in the premier division team, so tickets should not be a problem. Rome has 2 teams, Lazio and Roma, and Florence has one team.

Serie A schedule won't be announced until mid to late June at the earliest. The 2023-24 season, though, will start August 20.
Lazio, Roma, and Fiorentina will be in Serie A; Venezia will not.

I think you are looking at the 22/23 season as the 23/24 season does not start until 20th August. You may be able to see a pre-season friendly game.
