We will be arriving in Rome on Dec 18, which is, I believe, the last day of Series A soccer until January, so the only opportunity to see a soccer game on our trip. Will we be able to purchase 8 tix for the Lazio/Udinese game in Olympic Stadium when we arrive that day? Or should we purchase tickets in the states before we leave, and if so, how & where?

Hi Christine, We went to see Lazio play in September 2009. First we tried a sport store located on Via Farini, near the train station, they sell ticket prior to the game, but had none left for us. So we bought our tickets from an official Lazio store not far from the Olympic stadium, via Guglielmo Calderini 66/C, make sure to bring your passports for id. When i look at the schedule, i see the game is on Sunday the 19th. Lazio, is the less popular of the two Roman teams, but it is doing well this year...For us the stadium was pretty empty.
