Snorkeling in the Cinque Terre?

Wondering if anyone has first hand experience renting snorkeling equipment? Is there anything to see?

You'd better have some thick skin because the water was ice cold like a winter mountain stream when I visited in June.

Guess I'll quit bragging about my snorkeling plans to all my friends then, ha. Thanks!

I don't know about snorkeling, but we really enjoyed the swimming off rocks near Manarola in late June. The water was not too cold. I stayed in for about 30 minutes.

We did some snorkeling around the cove in Vernazza a few years back. I think we just bought a couple cheap masks and did it without flippers. Very enjoyable until I came a few inches from swimming face first into a big jellyfish. I'm now traumatized and haven't done it since, lol...
