Has anyone stayed at the Smeraldo in a superior room in the annex street facing? Did you find it difficult to sleep due to outside noise the entire night? I did request a courtyard facing room but nothing is guaranteed.

Yes, my sister had a superior room in the annex street facing. No issues with noise, but we were there in March when Rome is not packed with people.
The hotel is in such a great location. I wouldn't worry about noise. Or bring ear plugs if it's a concern.

We stayed there in May 2023 in a superior room. We had no problem with street noise. As mentioned, this hotel is in a great location and the staff were wonderful to us.

Hi, we stayed there last September. No problem with noise &the smells from the deli/bakery across the street are amazing. Stayed there 2 nights. Excellent location, great staff. There's an interesting bar on the roof as well.
