Looking for a small guided tour guide recommendation of Rome Forum and Palatine Hill. We have visited the Colosseum and don't need a guide there. Thanks, I love this forum.
You may have a harder time finding a set group tour for just the Forum and Palatine Hill.
We are using Marta Marsili for the Vatican/St. Peter's. She does custom tours, too:

She came recommended by Francesca Caruso, who regularly collaborates with RS on his Italy guidebooks.

We took a small guided tour of the Forum and Palatine Hill with Walks of Italy. There were 8 of us. We were very happy with our knowledgeable guide and the small group. www.walksofitaly.com.

We just went to the kiosk at the entrance to the Forum and bought a ticket for a guided tour of both the Forum and Palatine Hill. The tour was with an archeologist and she was amazing!
We used Context Tours but the tour included the Colosseum also. They are a little more expensive but worth the money - only 6 per group and talented, experienced tour guides. We used them for a Vatican tour also.
You also may download Rick Steves' audio tour of the Forum and see if they give you enough of what you are looking for. I like them because I can then see the site at my own pace.
