small Boat tours from Sorrento

Does anyone have a great recommendation of a small (less than 12) preferable 8 boat tour, leaving sorrento. trying to decided if a tour down the amalfi coast or Capri is the way to go ( no need to see the blue grotto)- Wanting to swim and see the sites via the water. We will be there is high season of August- so also wanting a break from the crowds traveling with two teenagers 16 and 19.

We did a boat tour to Capri - it was booked through Sorrento Vibes. There were 7 on our boat. It was 100Euro per person and included lunch (nothing exciting - but it was lunch!) The water was too choppy to see the Blue Grotto, but our drivers took us all around the island pointing out different grottos on the way. After going under the Faraglioni Rocks, we headed back to Sorrento by 5:00. For an extra 5Euro they picked us up at our hotel. Our boat captains were both named Fernando and they were great!

We did a boat trip to Capri with Mondo Guides just a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. I think there were 12 people on the boat + 2 crew. It was a full day and included a sandwich for lunch and beer & prosecco. We checked out some grottos (got to swim through a couple of them), had 4 hours on the island (a bus took all of us from the boat to the chairlift at Anacapri, then shuttled us down to the main town and then later back to the boat) before going inside the Blue Grotto and then returning to Sorrento. Hotel pickup/dropoff as well. We paid 100 euros pp.
