Sleeping in Rome

We have been looking at B&B's in and around Trastevere and south west of Termini station. Approx. the same price, any neighborhood you prefer to the other? Or any other suggested areas?

I would suggest staying close to the Campo dei Fiori or Piazza Navonna area - both are dead center of the Historical Center of Rome. I was not impressed with Trastevere (although it IS better than Termini). Trastevere just added a bit longer to the walk when seeing the sites.

There is agreat difference between northeast of Termini and northwest.Northeast may be seedy but northwest is not.Hotel Italia and Residence Adler are both excellent and well located. They are also only 3-4 blocks from the train station which is handy for coming and going with luggage.best regards jack
