Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Sabotino in Milan lately. I am finding conflicting info on it's condition. Any other suggestions for a low cost but clean hotel near the center of the city?

How low is low? There are lots of hotels on the streets leading away from the train station. I've stayed at Hotel Bernina (not to be confused with Hotel Berna) on Via Napo Torriani, a couple of blocks from the train station. Simple accommodations, rather low priced in my estimation (last year 45 euro for a single with bath, breakfast extra).
