Sleep and eat in Tours

Will be staying a Saturday night in Tours. Have narrowed my hotel choices to Best Western Central or Hotel de L'Univers.
Would appreciate comments about these hotels, or any others
in central area. Any suggestions for restaurants in the city center? Thanks, John
