Anybody have names of tour agencies with skip the line ability that they enjoyed? Is there anything special we need to know to book them? Thanks

I'm in Rome right now and just did the Vatican tour this morning. We arrived at about 9:00 am and walked right in. The secret to getting into the place is to access the museum first. Once in the museum, you can go straight to St. Peter's via a back door in the Sistine Chapel. It was VERY easy and never once waited in line!

I was in Rome last week and went to the Vatican Tuesday afternoon, a little before 1:00. We also walked right in, without being on a tour. I echo the advice to exit out the door in the Sistene Chapel that goes directly to St. Peter's. I thought Rick's tour of the Vatican that's in his Rome book was great -- I didn't miss a tour guide.
