I am traveling to Rome, Naples, Florence and Venice in November. Which are the attractions where pre-booking online skip the line tickets are significantly beneficial?
Roma: Vatican Museums; Colosseum/Roman Forum/Palatine (one ticket covers two days, one admission per place); Domus Aurea.
Firenze: Accademia and Uffizi, perhaps not necessary in November but why wait in line if you don't have to?
Venezia: Perhaps San Marco.
If you wish to visit the Borghese Gallery,
while in Rome, make sure you book your tickets in advance also.
I would never plan on a uffizi visit without ticket reservations and same with Vatican Museums and Borghese gallery. I November you might not have a line but when you have limited time, you dont want to waste it in line and lines are not entirely predictable.
We did a Skip the Line for St. Peter's in March. I think it was 18 Euro apiece. Well worth it, saved us approximately an hour plus. They also gave us a link to a phone app to give dialogue of what we were seeing, but it didn't work.
We purchased skip the line tickets for the Uffizi and the Acadamia. At the Uffizi we still had to wait on a long line with the rest of the skip the line ticket holders which really frosted all of us. Conversely at the Acadamia we walked right in so I would say definitely buy them but you might still be in a line.
