Skip-the-Line Lord's Supper and Apertif Tour

Wanted to write in hopes that this post might help someone else like it did for me in planning my latest trip to Milan.
I was very upset when I tried to get tickets to the Lord's Supper. It seems that 75% of the daily tickets are released to tour groups so if you want to go you must get very lucky or make up your mind to go in with a group. I really did not want to group tour this site but felt we had no choice. I was pleasantly surprised at the tour....our guide Paula was wonderful....and she explained the painting at length. After the Lord's Supper we caught a tram and she took us to the Milan duomo and Vittorio Emmanuelle mall for an explanation of each. We walked around the corner to see La Scala and then trammed to the Milan castle. At each site Paula gave us a brief but very informative talk and answered questions. At the conclusion of the tour she walked us across the street from the castle and we enjoyed a drink and a buffet. I felt it was worth the $80 each to get to see the painting and enjoy her information. I think if we had not done this tour we would not have gotten in to see the painting at all. There is a lot of walking in the tour so be prepared...there were some older tour members that were struggling with the amount of walking we did. The tour lasted from 3:45 until about 7.
