Hi- hoping for advice to find a self-guided Skip the Line Colosseum Tour for next week - which includes under ground access and audio guide. Had booked a Viator tour but just learned it does not include underground and that that is where a lot of history is. Get Your Guide (which I prefer over Viator) has one for $ 87.00 - but it is with a tour guide. Would rather navigate on own. Looks like the typical Skip the Line tix just allow access to above ground.

Brocha, sorry but you cannot access the underground without a guided tour.
You could check coopculture.it for their less expensive tours but if your trip is next week, I'm afraid you're probably out of luck as they sell out very, very quickly and far in advance when they become available. I'd check to see if they had any openings for the combo Underground/Belvedere (Panoramic) tour as well but they're likely sold out too (I haven't checked dates).

Editing to add: tickets for this tour do not include entry to the Forum and Palatine so you'd need additional, standard 2-day tickets if planning to see them.
