ski p the line in Rome

I read if you have a discounted ticket for the Colosseum in Rome you have a longer line for security. Is the Senior ticket for tourists as well and is it considered a discount. I would rather pay full than stand in a longer line. thank you

There isn't any "Senior Ticket" for the Colosseum, for locals OR tourists. A "reduced" ticket is only available to citizens of the E.U. between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. "Senior" tickets for the Italian State Museums - and I believe those were only available to E.U. citizens - were discontinued in 2014. The Colosseum, Forum and Palatine are considered State Museums.

Not sure where you read that but as you won't be using discounted tickets anyway (your group of 3 are all seniors) it doesn't matter.
