Heading to a mediterranean cruise hitting the ports of Catania Sicily, Valetta Malta, Bari Italy, Kotor Montenegro, Split Croatia and Koper Slovenia and looking for the "sites to see in each". Any suggestions?

Grab a few guide books to help you decide what to see. Everyone has their favorites but if you're not interested in what others are interested in then their list will be a waste of time for you. Since you will only be in each city for a day or so it's really important for you to do the research and make your own list. This way you're sure to see what's important to you and not what someone else considers important. Donna

Be sure to go to Cruise Critic, so you can: Get more information about your ports of call.See which ports you can see on your own and which ones you might want to do on an excursion (either through the ship or arranged by you).Sign up for a "roll call" of others on your sailing, so you can meet others who will be on the ship. You can see who will be arranging private groups, and either join one of theirs or start one of your own and get others to join. This will be cheaper (and likely better) than the ship's tour.
