Sites between Naples and Rome and on Adriatic Coast

I will be renting a car in Naples on May 16, returning to Rome on May 19. We will have done the Almafi coast already. Is there anything interesting on the Adriatic or south/east and east of Rome? Nothing in Rick's book mention anything. Tx
