Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to take the SITA bus from Florence to Siena, and vice-versa? I found the schedule online, but no prices. Thanks very much!

I hope someone can better answer your question as I looked and can't find my ticket stub (I usually keep those things!). But I took this bus in September and it seems to me it was roughly like 6 euro or so. I just remember it wasn't very much. Good luck!

Suffice it to say it's cheap. RS Italy probably has the price.

My ticket stub from last years shows 6.50 euro each way--- figure 7.50 just to be safe and if it's still 6.50 treat yourself to a gelato with the extra cash!
ALSO there is a rapido and a local---- be careful to get the rapido unless you want to spend an extra 45 minutes on the bus.

We did that last May and I think the tickets then were about 11E each? Or maybe that was round trip. Bus trips are an inexpensive way to go! It does take a while by bus, but at least it drops you off right at the old town...if you take the train, you'll have to take a taxi to get to the main piazza! Good choice.
