We did the 1000 piece version before our trip to Italy. It is a good way to highlight the details and the organization of the elements.

Then did a Starry Night puzzle before vising Provence.

I have the 540 piece Last Judgement underway right now - brought it back from the Vatican Museum shop in 2015 and had never started it.

Has anyone tried to buy a jigsaw puzzle since the pandemic started?
Last time I tried was April and they're all sold out.

Kent, for puzzles, check with Allport Editions. Super customer-oriented company in Portland, Oregon. Easy to see what is available on their web site. They get several new shipments, but then many sell out quickly. But, if you call, they can tell you when new shipments (new designs) would be due in. Shipping was super quick. Reasonable prices.

In addition to buying one there, I also found 3 more at a locally owned, long-time toy store here in Nashville the day after those type stores were allowed to open. When I called, they had just unboxed the shipments that had arrived while the store was closed. Good timing.

So far we have completed a historic map of Ireland, the skyline of Nashville, and next up are: Cinque Terre and Venice at night.....working our way up from 500 pieces to 1500 pieces.

It's been fun, and it had been decades since we last worked a puzzle (when it rained for two days on a St. Thomas, VI trip).
