Siracuse to Ragusa train on a Sunday

Hello All,
My partner and I are traveling to Sicily in April for the first time. We'd like to go from Siracuse to Ragusa on April 28, a Sunday. I believe there is about a 2 hour train service on that route but perhaps not on Sundays? Trenitalia shows no trains at all for that route. Does anyone have any information or tips? We are traveling exclusively by public transit and occasional taxis. Thanks!

I don't know about Sundays, but we made that trip with no problem. We took train. It stopped in another town and we transferred. Very easy. We spent 6 nights in Siracusa; 3 nights in Ragusa.
Did side trips from both. Good luck with your schedule. But it's all good. Sorry I can't help you with the train . I am glad we went to Ragusa (spent one day in Ragusa and did two side trips from Ragusa on bus. Enjoyed all. Plenty of side trips available from Siracusa as well. Ragusa is full of climbs for getting around. (We are over 60 but had easy time. Met people who were more challenged with this..... but they loved it as well). We had 3 weeks or more in Sicily so we had some flexibility. Also went to Palermo and island of Favignana/via Trapini. Went to Taormina for 2 nights as well (before Siracusa). Loved it all.

It appears there are no trains to Ragusa on Sunday. I know there's very little, if any, intercity bus service on Sunday anywhere on the island.

Thanks to both of you for your information. We're still working out our itinerary for our first trip to Italy.
