We just returned home after a trip to Germany/Austria/ Czech Republic/ and Hungary. Italy is next on the list. My favorite option available currently is the 13 day My Way Italy tour. Is there ever a similar tour offered that is guided?

I did this one in 2015 - just plan your own attractions and you will love the freedom it offers - it was marvelous! Happy Travels!

Yes, the Best of Italy in 17 Days tour is fully guided. Even with being guided, you still have free time to take in sights on your own. I have been on it and loved it! Check it out, it spends 4 additional nights:
2 nights in Siena
2 nights in the Dolomites, or the Italian Alps.
The My Way tour spends 2 nights in Assisi and the 17 Days tour spends 2 nights near Orvieto or Umbria instead.
You will be so amazed at the variety of this part of Italy! Then you spend the end of the tour in Rome, what's not to love? The next spring, I went on the 7 Days Best of Rome tour to get more of Rome. Fantastic tour!
