SIM Cards at Rome Airport

Looking for assurance / directions to buy an Italian SIM card for local calling & text while in Italy. Would like to buy at the airport if possible assuming it is fairly priced. (Have not found the search function yet, so hope this post is OK)

The search function is pretty obvious. It is in the grey box, first thing at the top of the page in 20 pt text. Should be able to see it now.

You need to have a passport with you, a local address (hotel will do), not sure if the Codice Fiscale is still required. The codice fiscale is a tax code and can be unofficially generated on the Internet if the store won't generate it for you. You can generate your own Italian Tax code using the website below or many similar ones (if you have a middle name in the passport include it as part of your first name):

There are mobile phone stores at the Fiumicino airport, but I don't remember if they are located past the security check point, therefore you may not be able to access it unless you are departing with a valid boarding pass. There are however many all over Rome, including at the Termini train station. Italy's biggest mobile phone providers are TIM, Vodafone, Wind, 3. Prices of plans don't vary based on where the store is located.
