What is the best SIM card to use in Italy? I will be in Italy for two months.
I’ve used TIM and VodaFone with great success on many trips.
Buy the cards at an actual shop so you can get help, not at the airport when you land.
Both carriers have many shops in most Italian cities and towns, look on Google maps for locations.
One thing: TIM did not work properly in Sicily last year…I had to go back and get it exchanged for VodaFone.
My phone does not support E-Sims, hence me always buying an actual sim card.
If your phone supports an eSim you might try that. I got an eSim last year (used the Airalo app) and could not be happier. It’s cheap and was extremely easy to set up. I can also switch back to my American phone plan whenever I want. Just a flea in your ear…. :-)
