I will be traveling to Italy - arriving at the Rome airport Is there a reliable cell phone store or kiosk at the airport where I can purchase a SIM card for use in Italy.
As I have read on the Rick Steve's website with regard to cell phones, I will purchase one with all the requirements on Amazon prior to arriving in Rome

Janet, This website provides the location for Cell phone shops at FCO: http://www.adr.it/web/aeroporti-di-roma-en-/en-fiumicino-shops-results You could also wait until you get to Roma Termini as there are Cell stores in the shopping area, one floor down from track level. Just to clarify regarding the phone, you'll need an unlocked quad-band GSM phone. You could also check E-Bay, as there are often brand new phones available there at fairly good prices. Happy travels!
