I love silk scarves! On previous trips to Italy I've bought some great scarves at both the outdoor market in Florence and a great silk shop in Bellagio. I've paid between 20 and 50 American dollars. I expect to pay that, but am not interested in the expensive designer scarves. In one month I'll be going to Italy again. I'll be staying in both Rome and Orvieto. Does anybody have a recommendation for great scarf shopping? Would these stores probably be closed on a Saturday afternoon?

Oh, my goodness.... straining my brain here! My friend and I found a store with lots of scarves in Rome I THINK on Via de Lucchesi. I THINK it was that street. I have a friend with that last name (the singular of the name, anyway); that's why it stands out. It was a littls shop that I believe is somewhere near the Trevi Fountain. Sorry I can't be more specific... hopefully someone else can be more helpful!
