According to the Eyewitness travel guide, certain sites, such as Area Sacra di Largo Agentine in Rome, require a permit because they are not usually open to the public. The guide gives incorrect info as to how to obtain the permit(wrond e-mail address). Does anyone know how?

According to the Rome Tourist Information website the area is closed for restoration:
