Planning to base myself in Treviso shortly (April 5-9) and would be grateful for any tips and suggestions about nearby places of interest, great beauty spots, restaurants, and walks (guided or not). Thanks and Ciao for now!

How about visiting Verona and Padova (reserve in advance for the Scrovegni Chapel), Vicenza especially if you like Palladian architecture. If you have a car and enjoy visiting Palladian villas, you will enjoy Villa Pisani near Padova. Villa Maser is slso worth visiting as are other villas in the region. Bassano del Grappa is also nice to visit but lots of shops are closed on Sundays. If you have time to drive up to the Dolomites...
