I will be traveling with my family (7people total) between Rome and Napoli (seeing Pompeii in between) and am looking for cute places (other than montecassino) to see in between. We are thinking castles, vineyards, anything. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

How much time will you have to spend in these places? How are you traveling (car or train makes a big difference)? What time of the year?

We are traveling by car. I live in Sicily now and used to guide in Rome so I only know things right around Rome.
We will have as much time as we want.
Any ideas?
